International Women's Day Event-Women Volunteer's Needed

This year, we are celebrating International Women’s Day with a small, welcoming gathering for our Spanish-speaking women clients in our community. Many of the women we serve have been feeling nervous about leaving their homes with everything going on in America, so their safety and comfort are our top priorities. Because of this, we’re intentionally keeping this event very small and relaxed. Instead of a large celebration per usual, we’ll be hosting a simple teatime-style gathering where women can comfortably get out of the house, enjoy some snacks, and spend time connecting with one another. It will be a warm, supportive space for conversation, laughter, and community.

We're looking for volunteers to help with:
(Spanish speaking women volunteers preferred, that way you can communicate with the attendees)
-Setting up the space before guests arrive
-Welcoming and chatting with attendees
-Serving light snacks and refreshments
-Helping clean up and take down after the event
-Transport attendees

Signing up for just one of these tasks or offering even a few hours of your time can make a meaningful difference.
